- Antigen Affinity-purified. Detects rat CXCL3/CINC-2 alpha/beta in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, greater than 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat (rr) CINC-1, rrCINC-2 beta , and rrCINC-3 is observed, less than 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) KC, rmMIP-2, recombinant human (rh) GRO alpha , rhGRO beta , and rhGRO gamma is observed, and less than 10% cross-reactivity with rhIL-8 is observed.

- Chemotaxis Induced by CXCL3/CINC-2 alpha and Neutral-ization by Rat CXCL3/ CINC-2 alpha/beta Antibody. Recombinant Rat CXCL3/ CINC-2 alpha (Catalog # 516-CA) chemoattracts the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with human CXCR2 in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). The amount of cells that migrated through to the lower chemotaxis chamber was measured by Resazurin (Catalog # AR002). Chemotaxis elicited by Recombinant Rat CXCL3/ CINC-2 alpha (0.05 µg/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Goat Anti-Rat CXCL3/ CINC-2 alpha/beta Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF516). The ND50 is typically 0.5-2.0 µg/mL.
