The recombinant rabbit antibody is specific for PRKAA1 (Protein kinase AMP-activated catalytic subunit alpha 1), which acts as a key regulator of glucose homeostasis in liver. PRKAA1 also acts as a regulator of cellular polarity by remodeling the actin cytoskeleton. The antibody specifically reacts with human, mouse and rat PRKAA1.
