- Description
- Description: The C8.6 antibody reacts with the p40 subunit of human IL-12 p70 and human IL-23. IL-12 is a 70 kDa heterodimeric cytokine composed of two covalently linked chains, p40 and p35, and secreted primarily by activated monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. IL-23 is a biologically-related, heterodimeric cytokine composed of disulfide-linked p40 and p19 subunits. Applications Tested: This C8.6 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining of IFN gamma LPS actiavted human normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 µL (0.03 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 519 nm; Laser: Blue Laser. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
