- Detection of GABAA R alpha 4 N-Terminus by Western Blot. Western blot of rat brain (hippocampal) lysates using approximately 5 - 7 μg of tissue per lane. The blot was incubated overnight at 2 - 8° C with anti-GABAA R, alpha 4 subunit, N-Terminus diluted 1:1000. The antibody labeled the ~64 kDa alpha 4 subunit of the GABAA R.
