Description
Rho GTPase-activating protein 7, also known as, Deleted in liver cancer 1 protein (DLC-1) or HP protein or Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 7 or START domain-containing protein 12 (StARD12) or StAR-related lipid transfer protein 12, and encoded by the gene name(s), DLC1 or ARHGAP7 or STARD12, is a member of the rhoGAP family of proteins which play an important role in the regulation of small GTP-binding proteins. These proteins participate in signaling pathways that regulate cell processes involved in cytoskeletal changes. DLC1 is localized to the cytoplasm and is highly expressed in the spleen, with rather lower levels in prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine and colon.

Storage
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
