Immunogen affinity purified. Detects human Common gamma Chain/IL-2 R gamma in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-2 R gamma is observed, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IL-2 R beta is observed, and less than 2% cross-reactivity with rhIL-2 R alpha is observed.

Experimental details

Cell Proliferation Induced by IL-2 and Neutralization by Human Common gamma Chain/ IL-2 R gamma Antibody. Recombinant Human IL-2 (Catalog # 202-IL) stimulates proliferation in the MO7e human megakaryocytic leukemic cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Proliferation elicited by Recombinant Human IL-2 (30 ng/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Goat Anti-Human Common gamma Chain/ IL-2 R gamma Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF284). The ND₅₀ is typically 20-60 µg/mL.
