PA1-16959 is specific for the ~36 kDa Speedy/Ringo protein (isoform 2). After a longer exposure, a 31 kDa band can be detected (isoform 1). There is also a non-specific band detected at ~58 kDa.Suggested positive control: mouse testis lysate, mouse testis protein.

Immunohistochemical analysis of SPDYA in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human testis. Samples were incubated in SPDYA polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-16959) using a dilution of 1:300 for 1 hour at room temperature followed by the Anti-Rabbit IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody. Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to the nuclei of sperm cells.
