- Description
- Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 1 (NTPDase 1), also known as, Ecto-ATP diphosphohydrolase 1 (Ecto-ATPDase 1 or Ecto-ATPase 1) or Ecto-apyrase or Lymphoid cell activation antigen or CD39, and encoded by the gene name(s), ENTPD1 or CD39, uses an alternate 5 exon that results in a distinct 5 UTR and causes translation initiation at an alternate start codon, compared to variant 1. Isoform 2 has a longer and distinct N-terminus, compared to Isoform 1. ENTPD1 is localized to the membrane and is expressed primarily on activated lymphoid cells. ENTPD1 is also expressed in endothelial tissues. Isoform 1 and isoform 3 are present in both placenta and umbilical vein, whereas isoform 2 is present in placenta only.

- Storage
- Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
