- Product name
- anti-Activating Transcription Factor 2 (ATF2) (pSer112), (pSer94) antibody
- Antibody type
- Polyclonal
- Antigen
- Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pSer112 or 94 (D-L-S (p) -P-L) derived from Human ATF2. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
- Description
- The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
- Reactivity
- Human, Mouse, Rat
- Host
- Rabbit
- Epitope
- pSer112,pSer94
- Isotype
- IgG
- Vial size
- 100 μL
- Concentration
- 1 mg/mL
- Storage
- Store at -20°C for long term preservation (recommended). Store at 4°C for short term use.

Transcription factor ATF2 regulation by the JNK signal transduction pathway.
ATF-2 is preferentially activated by stress-activated protein kinases to mediate c-jun induction in response to genotoxic agents.
ATF-2 contains a phosphorylation-dependent transcriptional activation domain.
Activating transcription factor-2 DNA-binding activity is stimulated by phosphorylation catalyzed by p42 and p54 microtubule-associated protein kinases.
