- Human/Mouse/Rat FABP3/H-FABP Antibody
- Antibody type
- Polyclonal
- Description
- Antigen Affinity-purified. Detects human FABP3/H-FABP in direct ELISAs and detects human, mouse, and rat FABP3/H-FABP in Western blots. In direct ELISAs, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) FABP4 and recombinant human (rh) FABP4 is observed, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat (rr) FABP1, rhFABP1, rhFABP2, rhFABP7, and rhFABP8 is observed, and less than 10% cross-reactivity with rrFABP2 and rmFABP5 is observed.

- Detection of Human, Mouse, and Rat FABP3/H-FABP by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of human heart tissue, human skeletal muscle tissue, mouse heart tissue, and rat heart tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat FABP3/H-FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF1678) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for FABP3/H-FABP at approximately 14 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

- Detection of Human and Mouse FABP3/H-FABP by Simple WesternTM. Simple Western lane view shows lysates of human heart tissue and mouse heart tissue, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for FABP3/H-FABP at approximately 19 kDa (as indicated) using 5 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Human FABP3/H-FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF1678) followed by 1:50 dilution of HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.

- FABP3/H-FABP in Human Heart. FABP3/H-FABP was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human heart using Sheep Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat FABP3/H-FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF1678) at 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Sheep HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS019) and counter-stained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.
