- Description
- Placenta-specific gene 8 protein, also known as, Protein C15, and encoded by the gene name(s), PLAC8 or BM-004, associates with C/EBPÉÇ and binds to the C/EBPÉÇ promoter to induce its transcription. It also induces cold intolerance, late-onset obesity, and impaired function of brown adipocytes.
