Description

RPRM (reprimo, TP53 dependent G2 arrest mediator candidate) is a protein-coding gene. Diseases associated with RPRM include pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and gastric cancer, and among its related super-pathways are DNA damage response. An important paralog of this gene is RPRML. May be involved in the regulation of p53-dependent G2 arrest of the cell cycle. Seems to induce cell cycle arrest by inhibiting CDK1 activity and nuclear translocation of the CDC2 cyclin B1 complex (By similarity).
