- Western blot analysis of GARS in HEK293T cells in untransfected (Left lane) and transfected (Right lane) samples using 5 µg per lane. The samples were separated by SDS-PAGE and probed with GARS (Product # MA5-26714) monoclonal antibody.

- Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded adenocarcinoma of human colon tissue. To expose target proteins, 1 mM EDTA in 10mM Tris, pH8.5, 120°C for 3min was used. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a GARS monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-26714).

- RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) western of GARS was performed in K562 cells. Antigen-antibody complexes were formed by incubating approximately 500 µg whole cell lysate with 5 to 10 µL of monoclonal GARS antibody (Product # MA5-26714) rotating 60 min at RT. The immune complexes were captured on 625 µg of anti-mouse coated Dynabeads (Product # 11202D) and washed extensively. They were then eluted and analyzed using the Simple Western system using the same antibody as used in immunoprecipitation at a dilution of 1:25, followed by a 1:100 dilution of secondary antibody. Lane 1 is the input, lane 2 no antibody IP and lane 3 is the target specific IP. Data courtesy of the Yeo lab as part of the ENCODE project.
