- Peptide Competition: Extracts prepared from chick embryo fibroblasts expressing FAK and plated on fibronectin were probed with 0.35 ?g/mL GTX24803 antibody following prior incubation with: no peptide (1), the non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the immunogen (2), a generic phospho-tyrosine containing peptide (3), a phosphopeptide derived from the corresponding region of Pyk2 (4), or, the phosphopeptide immunogen (5).? The data show that only the peptide corresponding to GTX24803 blocks the antibody signal, thereby demonstrating the specificity of the antibody.

- Visualizing focal adhesion kinase with FAK [pY397] PSSA. HeLa cells were fixed and permeabilized using ice-cold 95% methanol. FAK [pY397] PSSA was labeled with Alexa Fluor? 488 dye (green fluorescence), and nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue fluorescence). The image was captured using a fluorescence microscope fitted with a 100¡Ñ oil immersion lens.
